Join D.C. Area Educators for Social Justice in 2026

Thanks for all you do to support social justice, starting in the classroom. Together we accomplished so much in 2025, and we are not done yet. 

We have big plans for 2026:

  • Host the Black Lives Matter at School curriculum fair in January

  • Coordinate the 9th annual D.C. Area Black Lives Matter at School Week of Action in February

  • Coordinate the 15th year of Filmfest D.C. classroom visits with filmmakers in April 

  • Add to our popular collection of teaching resources, including local history resources and Black Lives Matter at School teaching resources (widely used regionally and nationally)

  • Bring renowned go-go musicians to D.C. area classrooms and co-host the Capital City Go-Go’s Education Day games

  • Shine a light on innovative classroom teachers and teaching stories

  • And much more!

Collectively, we can provide educators with the tools to create schools where students learn to read, write, and change the world.
