2027 Black Lives Matter at School Curriculum Fair

Join us on Saturday, January 23, 2027, to discover, connect, and take home curriculum that affirms Black students and teaches our shared history. The annual Black Lives Matter at School Curriculum Fair brings educators together to strengthen the movement for racial justice in our schools. This event will be hosted IN PERSON in Washington, D.C. Location to be announced.

This event is in preparation for Black Lives Matter at School Week of Action in February. Teaching for Change's D.C. Area Educators for Social Justice, and community members will collaborate locally to build awareness of the national Week of Action, a campaign taking place in cities across the U.S. The campaign promotes a set of national demands, grounded in the Black Lives Matter guiding principles, that call for a better school experience for Black students.
