The event featured a keynote address by Eric Marcus, author, journalist, and creator of the Making Gay History podcast. Marcus shared powerful stories about his work with LGBTQ+ history and activism and shared a few clips from his interviews with iconic LGBTQ+ activists such as Sylvia Rivera, Wendell Sayers, and Edythe Eyde. His address set the tone for a day of meaningful discussions.

Following the keynote, attendees participated in two breakout sessions featuring a diverse lineup of speakers. These sessions covered a wide range of topics, sparking critical conversations and equipping students with tools to take action in their communities.

The LASJ Social Justice Fair highlighted the passion of young changemakers. Special shoutout to Teaching for Change intern Addison Rosenberg for co-organizing the event and inviting an outstanding guest speaker.
