Freedom Nights: SNCC Film Screening

  • Eaton DC 1201 K Street Northwest Washington, DC 20005 (map)

All are invited to attend a dinner and film screening hosted by Project STAND at Eaton D.C.

At the vanguard of the Civil Rights Movement, the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) was a youth-led, grassroots organization that mobilized non-violent, direct-action campaigns. Join for a screening of Eyes on the Prize, which highlights SNCC’s activism, followed by a conversation with veteran SNCC activist Judy Richardson.

This program is free and open to the public.
