Youth v. Trump Event in DC: Children's Climate Rights Resolution Press Conference

  • Senate Swamp, U.S. Capitol Grounds 2 East Capitol Street Northeast Washington, DC, 20543 United States (map)

On Wednesday, July 16th at 12:00pm EST, rally around 22 young Americans fighting for a livable climate future. At this intergenerational event, they’ll gather on the U.S. Capitol Grounds at the Senate Swamp and GET LOUD!

This is not your average press conference – it's a powerful youth-led climate action where young leaders and members of Congress will stand together to introduce a vital congressional resolution recognizing children’s rights to life and a stable climate system.

Youth are leading once again by taking on the Trump administration and its anti-clean energy and anti-climate science directives that attack our children, our scientific institutions, the rule of law, and our democracy. Leadership is urgently needed to address today’s climate emergency, NOT an energy emergency, that burdens children with a lifetime of hardship!
