Register for the 11th annual Howard/Georgetown University Children and Youth Literature Workshop for Teachers, featuring award-winning books from the CABA and MEOC Book Awards. Speakers include Rhonda Roumani, author of Umm Kulthum: The Star of the East, the Diva of Arabic Song, and Lesley Younge, author of Nearer My Freedom: The Interesting Life of Olaudah Equiano by Himself, in conversation with Dr. Naglaa Hussein.

This is an in-person event. Lunch will be served, and attendees will receive copies of the featured books.
