From the National Women's Law Center report in 2018 to NPR in 2019, the topic of how schools are policing the bodies of black girls is getting some much needed attention.

Join IKAM Productions for a look at the 2020 documentary, Clothed Minds, based on the report, Dress Coded: Black girls, bodies, and bias in DC schools, and a panel discussion around the issue, its impact, and moving forward to finding solutions.

The panel will feature diverse voices from the girls themselves, local activists, and school personnel.

Light refreshments will be served from 5:30 pm - 6 pm.

Screening will start promptly at 6:10 pm. Panel discussion immediately following moderated by Carleen Brown.
